Happy Unvalentines

I was going to post either a nuanced yet wry and amusing view of my least favourite day of the year (or alternatively just a rant, depending on how angry I was at the time) but Charlie Brooker’s column today on Valentine’s Day easily outdoes anything I could write.

It’s also now the fifth time somebody’s asked me if I write his column. No, the man is at least fifty times, possibly fifty-one times funnier than I could ever be. He just happens to share the same outlook on life and me and can articulate it a hell of a lot better.
