    Great article on Director of Football! Happy to see Spurs legends like Perryman thriving, but I think the model is easier to implement at a smaller club.

    The situation at Spurs is almost a byword in how not to do it. It goes back further than Camolli too – we had Pleat in doing a similarly unconstructive job for a few years prior to that.

    I don’t think its a coincidence that the model isn’t used at any leading Prem club…
